Thought I'd share an alternate phrasing I use for the passage just after the second repeat on the main theme: D :-------------------------------|---------------------------- A :-------------------------------|----0--3(H)-0--------------- G :---------------------0---------|-0------------0------------- D :---------------0--2-----2--4(S)|-----------------4--2(S)--0- A :--0--2(H)-3(H)-----------------|---------------------------- D :-------------------------------|---------------------------- ^ (H) = hammer, (S) = slide hold the F# ----------> The PK Acoustic Solos book shows the A's played on the 2nd fret of the G string instead of the open string. Using the open string makes it easier (for me anyway) to hold the F# while playing the notes on the G & A strings. I also slide up to the F#, in imitation of the cello/violin accompaniment. ---------------------------------------------------- Brian O'Sullivan brianos *AtSign* ziplink.net Columbia, MD http://www.ziplink.net/~brianos
